WeWork’s latest space will cover 64k SF on the fifth through eighth floors at 130 West 42nd St., near Bryant Park. The asking rent at the building, also called Bush Tower, can climb into the mid-$70s per SF, according to the New York Post. Bush Tower is ground leased to Tribecca Associates and China Vanke. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Lance Korman repped WeWork. JLL’s Mitch Konsker, Frank Doyle, Clark Finney, Betsy Buckley and Harlan Webster repped the ownership. WeWork has been a major force in NYC leasing, and has focused many of its latest deals close to Bryant Park. News came out last week that WeWork recently restructured its leadership structure to more closely mirror the types of business line-based hierarchies found in large, established publicly traded corporations.
