Marwan Dalloul|
President
Marwan Dalloul started his career at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority ("ADIA") in Abu Dhabi in 1998. In 2000, he moved to New York with American Properties, Inc. His primary focus is major urban cities in the United States where he has completed several multimillion dollar real estate transactions.
Mr. Dalloul received his Bachelor's degree from American University in Washington, DC and then went on to receive a diploma in the Building Construction Program from New York University. At NYU, he received honors and the Joseph Fater Award of Academic Excellence. He also received a Master's in Real Estate Development and a Master's of Business Administration, both from Columbia University in New York. He is also a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Nicholas Ghattas|
Managing Director
Nicholas Ghattas joined American Properties Inc in 1983. He has been based in Times Square, Manhattan since API's inception and has been a driving force in the transformation of Times Square. He is part of the 42nd Street Development Project and in 1984 he pioneered the concept of a business development district for the Times Square area. He has worked closely with local government agencies and other organizations in successful efforts to improve the Times Square area.
Mr. Ghattas was an economist and urban planner at Dar Al-Handassah in Beirut, Lebanon from 1975 to 1983. During that time he worked on numerous development projects in the Middle East and Africa.
He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Massachusetts where he received high honors. He also has a Master's Degree in City Planning and Economics from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At Harvard, he also completed studies in economics at the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology which had a joint program with Harvard University.
Fuad Ramadan|
Financial Manager
Fuad Ramadan started his career with the Arab Bank from 1991 to 1994.In 1994 he joined the Lebanese Company for Modern Building as a Financial Manager. In 2000 he joined the Middle East Medical Management Company (Memmco) as the financial controller to build and develop a Clinic in Solidaire. In 2009 he was recruited by American Properties Inc as a financial director.
He earned a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from American University of Beirut in 1982 and a M.B.A Degree in Finance, Investment & Banking, June-1991 University of Wisconsin-Madison USA.
Scott Zwilling|
Financial Director
Scott Zwilling has multiple years of experience in sourcing, negotiating and financing transactions of all asset types. He was previously the Northeast Director of Acquisitions for JPI, a large national apartment developer, where he was responsible for the acquisition and management of existing property and land development, as well as the financing of development and redevelopment projects. Prior to JPI, Mr. Zwilling was an Acquisitions Manager with Crescent Heights, one of the nation's premier condominium developers, where he held a similar role.
In addition, he currently serves as a Professor of Real Estate Finance at Columbia University. Prior to Crescent Heights, Mr. Zwilling was a real estate investment banker at Wells Hill Partners, Ltd., where he participated in numerous deals, including various residential, hotel and office assets. Other experiences include working as a consultant in the real estate groups of Arthur Andersen and Ernst and Young. Mr. Zwilling is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, New York, NY.
Ali Hage|
Civil Engineer
Mr. Hage has over 20 years experience working on projects in the Middle East. He started his career in Russia in the late 1980’s supervising a residential compounds project. In 1992 he joined Kuwait Construction Company (KCC) as a Project Manager where he monitored the construction of 15 schools. In 1997 he joined Arab Construction Company (ACC) where he was the resident engineer overseeing the $50 million Souk Project in Beirut’s Solidaire. In 2001 he joined the Ministry of Agriculture in Lebanon until he was recruited by American Properties, Inc in 2008. Mr. Hage graduated from Kalinin Polytechnical Institute in Russia in 1989.
